The clarity of this instrument is better than any other violin I have played. As a person who has played over 40 years I can say I have played a multitude of instruments and feel confident in my recommendation of Tom's violins. I have another violin that is valued at more than 5 times what I spent on this instrument. My new violin from Tom far surpasses my other violin in every way. After reviewing the reviews about Tom’s Violin repair shop, I took my Dad’s violin to him for a restoration! I was just recently reunited with my Dad’s violin after 57 years being separated from it! Tom’s knowledge amazed me and his detail concerning the repairs had me feeling good about where I brought it for repair! I picked it up from Tom on September 2nd the 58th anniversary of my Dad’s death! It looked amazing and Tom played it at my request! It was emotional as memories came forward! I highly recommend Tom!
